This introductory class will walk you through how to complete a small oil painting from start to finish. You will learn about color mixing using only red, blue and yellow, then move on to developing an idea and working it out through thumbnail and value sketches.  Once the prep work is done, you will see how easy it is to fly through an oil painting beginning with an under painting and building up the layers to your finished piece! The subject will be a realistic landscape painting. All supplies and materials included. This course is instructed by Sue Stoddart.
